In scientific literature, the literature review is a category of scientific paper, which provides a synthesis of research on a topic at that moment in time. A compilation of these reviews forms the core content of a 'tertiary' scientific journal, with examples including Annual Reviews, the Nature Reviews series of journals and Trends. A peer review is the process by which scientists assess the work of their colleagues that has been submitted for publication in the scientific literature. A software review is also a form of peer review, by the co-workers. A consumer review refers to a review written by the owner of a product or the user of a service who has sufficient experience to comment on reliability and whether or not the product or service delivers on its promises. An expert review usually refers to a review written by someone who has tested several peer products or services to identify which offers the best value for money or the best set of features. I've been looking for a job but I have a hard time because I want to know about the company before I apply so as not to waste my time and theirs. I would like to read employees' reviews on what they think of working for that company. Is there any such site? They have sites reviewing colleges, professors, restaurants, shops, etc so I'm just curious if there would be one reviewing being an employee. If you want to learn more about the company and what it does, just simply go research about the company on their website and see if they have any customer reviews. You can also try to type in the name of the company name followed by "reviews" in search engines to see if anyone has done a review about them before. If you find the company interesting and you are perhaps interested in the position but not quite sure yet, just go ahead and interview with them anyways. That's the best time to get to know a company. Ask any questions that you couldn't find online. You can even perhaps ask to shadow a person for a few hours or even day to see what the position is like. Stick with the "big" names - Bernina, Husqvarna Viking, Pfaff, Janome, Baby Lock. You'll be happy with any of these brands. Buy from a dealer near you. The specific model will depend on what additional things you need - embroidery, etc. Electronic (computerized) models are more expensive, but can do automatic buttonholes and specialty stitches. Mechanical models are less expensive and easier to maintain. I have a Pfaff (electronic) and a Janome (mechanical), and am very happy with both. I use the Pfaff for piecing my quilts, and the Janome for quilting them (on a frame). My mom has a Brother that she really likes. I've also used Baby Lock and Bernina and was impressed with their ease of use. Q. When I signed up for my phone plan, I got a phone that was offered on a deal at that time, and it's turned out to be kind of a lemon. It's got very short battery life and I've had to replace it twice. Eventually, I'll want to buy a new phone, and I'd like to know some web sites where I can read reviews from phone users and/or other objective reviewers about the value of different phone models.
