Granted that I don't know much about American politics, but I am an American Jew living in Israel, and I am very glad of the US's involvement. It is nice to have one ally, one friend in the whole darn world who actually agrees that Israel has a right to defend itself from the thousands of missiles fired on it, from death and destruction.
