My daughter asked to enroll in a summer art program, and I agreed because it was very low cost (money is tight until after I start getting paid after returning from layoff for a month). Here's the catch: After she signed up, we found out that it was a class in "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" projects. They want the students to basically bring in a set number of art projects ideas for the first class, and then each student will bring in materials for those that are selected! I think it's great and all...a nice idea for summer projects that can be given out as gifts by the kids later on in the year...but they each need ideas for at least five projects (preferably ten), a list of materials needed, and step-by-step instructions!
