You can transpose any song into a key that doesn't necessarily require you to play those pesky bar chords. It just takes some simple music theory. For example, the key of C includes an F chord, right? Here are the 3 significant major chords in the key of C: C, F, G. That's called the 1, 4, 5. Assume that C is one. Now, count on your fingers (using the standard musical alphabet A-G, but don't use sharps or flats. C=1, D=2, E=3, F=4, G=5. The 1, 4, 5 in the key of C is C, F, G. Get it? It probably skipped cus it was assuming that you knew that they were the same.
